We look forward to opening the 2023-2024 school year tomorrow! Following is some important information to help our first day go smoothly. (1) We have made changes to our student driver and drop off/pick up procedures. All vehicles will enter the campus via the Mt. Pleasant gate (BES road). Student drivers will proceed to a parking spot. Students being dropped off will proceed to the corner of the building near the lower lobby gym doors. All students will enter the building through the lower lobby gym doors. Parents will proceed to the highway via the South gate (nearest Dollar Store). Parents picking a student up in the afternoon will follow the same procedure. Please remain in line and your child will exit the building from the lower lobby gym doors. All afternoon drivers will exit campus via the South gate. (2) Students who have not picked up their schedules should report to the gym upon entry tomorrow. Schedules will be arranged by grade level. (3) Breakfast will be available in the front lobby area. After picking up breakfast, all students should report to the lower lobby area where tables are located. Please do not take food to the gym or classrooms. We appreciate everyone's help and patience as we begin the new year!

We want to thank everyone that attended our Open House this evening and those who stopped by throughout the day. It was great to see so many of our students and their families! We sincerely appreciate your understanding of the circumstances that required us to modify our original Open House plan. We realize there may still be some anxious students and parents. We would like to extend an opportunity for our incoming 7th graders, new students to our district and anyone else that may still be a little nervous about opening day, to drop by the school between the hours of 2 and 6 on Monday, August 14. We will show you around the building and answer any questions you may have. Rest assured that whether or not students have been in the building prior to Tuesday, our staff will be there to greet them, help them to the proper locations and make certain their needs are met. Again, thank you and we look forward to a great 2023-2024 school year!

Due to renovations, we have modified our Open House. Students may pick up their schedules and pay fees in the front lobby from 9-3 on Thursday, August 10 OR in the gym from 6-8. Please make sure you have completed your online registration (the link may be found on our district website) prior to schedule pick-up. If you have difficulty, someone will be available to help you during the times noted above. You may also call Marcia Dunaway at 502-255-3201. Household income verification forms will also be available for completion. While all students will receive free breakfast and lunch, these forms impact our technology and FRYSC funding. Students who take dual credit courses offered through UK may also be eligible for free tuition based on the information provided. We need EVERYONE to fill out and return this form and we sincerely appreciate your assistance. We regret that we are unable to offer tours of the building; however, we will host an Open House later in the year. Teachers and staff will be available to assist students in navigating the building on the first day of school. We look forward to having our students back in the building and having a great school year!

Seniors, Your final high school transcripts have been sent to the college/university you selected. If you took dual credit course(s) through Ivy Tech, JCTC, Murray, University of Kentucky and/or any other school, you will need to go to that schools website and request a final transcript to be sent to the college/university your will be attending in the fall. For example, If you plan to attend Ivy Tech in August and you took classes through U of K, you will need to go to the U of K website and request an official transcript to be sent to Ivy Tech. If you took classes at Ivy Tech and plan to continue taking courses at Ivy Tech, you will not need to request a transcript for the Ivy Tech classes as they already have that information on file. If you have any questions, please contact Ms. Howerton or Mrs. Farmer at andrea.howerton@trimble.kyschools.us or whitney.farmer@trimble.kyschools.us
