Juniors and Junior Parents: March 12th is the ACT for all students in the 11th grade. This is a state mandated test that all juniors must take. Students need to be at school by 8:00am. We encourage students to get a good nights rest, eat breakfast, bring a sealed bottle of water and a snack. ALL students must bring a charged Chromebook and charger. They may also bring an ACT approved calculator. Many juniors are bringing home an ACT Parental Consent Form that must be signed and returned to Ms. Howerton by tomorrow. This document allows students to share personal information with colleges and others who provide scholarships for post secondary education. If your junior did not bring home a form, you may email your consent to andrea.howerton@trimble.kyschools.us stating that you give permission for your child to complete the Educational Opportunity Service. If you have any questions, you may email using the address above or call 502-255-7781. Thank you.

Hello! It is that time of year again in which local scholarship packets will be coming out. I am sending this message out to see if any new local groups or organizations are wanting to offer scholarships this year. I will be reaching out to previous donors in the next few days to finalize my packet for students. If you have interest in offering a scholarship please contact me by email at whitney.farmer@trimble.kyschools.us or by phone at 502-255-5100 ext. 2113. Thank you and have a wonderful day!

Our girl's basketball team has advanced to Regional Tournament play! They will face Anderson County at 6:30 pm on Tuesday evening in the Anderson County High School gym. A pep bus will be available for students in grades 9-12 IF a minimum number of students decide to ride to the game via the pep bus. Students that would like to ride the bus should bring $12.00 to school TOMORROW. This amount includes the $10 entry ticket. Students will need to pick up a permission slip and return it on Tuesday. The bus will leave from the high school at 4:30 on Tuesday and should return between 9:30-10:00 pm. Students should eat prior to leaving or bring additional money for the concession stand. The bus will NOT stop on the way to or from the game. Please bring your $12 ticket/bus money to the front desk. If we do not have enough students to take a pep bus, all money will be returned. Thank you and GO LADY RAIDERS!

Attention Junior Beta Members and Families! With the impeding severe weather threat and extreme temperatures forecasted for the duration of our convention time, we have decided to opt out of our trip to convention this year. We are disappointed we cannot attend, but we are trying to promote the safety of our students first and foremost. Mrs. Farmer will still take the projects down personally on Monday and will be communicating a time students can bring those to school to submit. If convention itself is not postponed we will refund money to students. However, if they decide to postpone we will make all new reservations. Please do not hesitate to email or call if you have questions. Thank you for your understanding.

Our Homecoming ceremony has been re-scheduled for Monday, January 29. Our boys will play Gallatin County with the JV game beginning at 6:00. Crowning will take place immediately following the JV game (approximately 7:00) and our varsity team will wrap up the evening with tip-off scheduled for 7:30. Until then, stay safe, stay warm and have a wonderful 3-day weekend!
