A high PSAT score can lead to a National Merit Scholarship. You’ll be competing against students in your state, and recognition as a winner results is a single-payment monetary award of $2,500!

Important College Financial Aid Information!
TCJRSR High School has partnered with KHEAA to provide 2 upcoming Zoom meetings for students that plan on attending any post secondary institution upon graduation. Both the student and the parent should attend these Zoom meetings. The first meeting will be "Paying for College 101," which will be held Tuesday, September 15, at 6:30 pm. The second meeting will be held on Wednesday October 14, at 6:30 pm. This will be our traditional FAFSA (Federal Financial Aid) night which will provide detailed information on how to complete the FAFSA application, create student /parent ID/Pin, and more. This is a very important meeting and again, we encourage both the student and parent to attend. Any student wishing to seek financial aid will need to complete a FAFSA application. You will need to create a zoom account to access these meetings. The instructions for the September meeting are outlined below.

Virtual Option B/Independent Edgenuity students have been enrolled in courses. Students were emailed login information Sunday afternoon. If your student is a Virtual Option B student, please make sure he/she has received the email and is able to log into courses.
Any Virtual Option B student that has not completed and returned the Option B Agreement form must do so prior to Friday. Students that do not, will remain in Virtual Option A (teacher-facilitated) courses for the 2020-2021 school year.

Good morning! If you chose Virtual Option B (independent/Edgenuity) and have not received or submitted the Edgenuity Guildelines and Agreement form (handed out at orientation), please do so by this Friday, September 4th. If you have misplaced or did not receive the form, we have copies available at the school. Please stop in this week to complete this process, as the information is needed to assign coursework. Good morning! Beginning Tuesday, September 8th, we are making a few classrooms available to small groups of students to access internet.
Classrooms will be scheduled Monday-Thursday in two-hour shifts, 9-11 and 1-3. Bus transportation can be arranged, if necessary. Meals will not be provided. Masks must be worn by students at all times when in the building.

7th Grade Parents whose students selected Virtual Option A (teacher-facilitated) for semester 1 - Mrs. Farmer will be sharing a revised schedule document to her Google Classroom as a remedy to the scheduling issue for your students. If your student has not accessed their classroom yet, there should be a link to the classroom in their student email account. If you chose Virtual Option B or in-person learning, this schedule change does not apply to your student. Please call the school should you have any questions!

If you have not completed the online registration process, please take a few moments to do so by accessing the link available at: www.trimble.kyschools.us. The link appears in the yellow ribbon at the top of the page.
District/School owned devices may not be issued, until registration is complete, and technology fee is paid. The technology fee for Jr/Sr High students is $75.
We have many students signed up for orientation that have not yet completed these steps. There will be stations set up to accept payments and assist with the registration process on each day of orientation. Thank you!
