Dear Trimble County School Families: On behalf of the Trimble Co. Board of Education and the staff of Trimble County Schools, it is my pleasure to say “Welcome Back!” I trust that your time away has been enjoyable and you hopefully, had some time to recharge for the school year ahead. Starting the school year is always an exciting event whether you are a student, parent or staff member. As an educational leader, I’m still excited (and even a little nervous) at the beginning of each school year. I love to see our students and staff return from summer break. I’m eager for the fresh start and life lessons that each school year brings. I am also very sensitive to the fact that some students are apprehensive about the start of school. At the start of a new school year, it’s “OK” to be nervous or excited or a mixture of both – no matter who you are. At Trimble County Schools, our commitment to students and families is to provide a safe learning environment that not only provides a high quality education, but also inspires a love for learning and challenges students to think critically and problem solve. Our staff will work extra hard to make the transition into this school year as smooth as possible for our students, and minimize those nervous tendencies. Students, we cannot wait to welcome you back into our schools tomorrow! You are the reason why we come to work each day. You are incredible, and we are so excited to learn and grow together this year. We are blessed to have an impressive group of educators who are passionate about your learning, your safety and your school experience. They truly exemplify our district’s mission….. Every Student, Every Day! Parents, “thank you” for entrusting us with your children each day. We do not take that responsibility lightly, and we look forward to engaging their minds and cultivating their distinctive gifts to find the spark that will propel their learning. We need and welcome your partnership in their learning because after all, you were their first teachers. Parents play an essential role in our school system and we encourage you be actively involved this school year! Best wishes for a productive school year filled with many opportunities. Working together, we will inspire success and lifelong learning in Trimble County Schools. We look forward to seeing many of you at future district events and around our community. Raider Pride is everywhere and I wish you a positive and healthy 2022-23 school year. #weareTC Sincerely, Jessica Wilcoxson Superintendent, Trimble County Schools

Trimble County Schools will once again be utilizing the “Safety Tipline Online Prevention” tool otherwise known as STOP for the 2022-2023 school year! The STOP Tip line is designed for use as an "online" reporting/prevention tool, which is provided to our district free by the Kentucky Center for School Safety. If students, parents or community members know of an unsafe situation in school, they can anonymously pass on this information to school personnel by using this tool. Read more about it below. Let's work together to keep each other safe! https://drive.google.com/file/d/1lOigJspDkxUKioQZbovp8fsePdMDSTRx/view?usp=sharing

2022-2023 VIRTUAL LEARNING OPTION The Covid Pandemic taught us many things and forced us to function in new ways and adjust to innovative ideas. During the last 2 years, we have discovered that some students do not necessarily need in-person learning opportunities and in fact, not only do they prefer to work independently and at a self-paced rate, but they excel with this learning design. Some students struggled with the virtual learning format, but some excelled. We recognize and value the various learning preferences of our students! Therefore, we will continue to offer the virtual learning option for the 2022-2023 school year to students that qualify. Take a look at the attached guidelines and reach out to your child’s school principal with any questions, concerns or virtual requests for the upcoming school year. Requests for the Virtual Option must be made by August 1, 2022. Here you can find the link for the virtual application: https://forms.gle/XAYVzKLj2NtH9euF7 #weareTC

We hope everyone enjoyed a much-anticipated spring break! Believe or not, it's back to school Monday. When students and teachers return to class tomorrow, they will have just 31 days of school left in the year. Those days will be filled with lots of activities, including preparation for end-of-year assessments, high school prom, father/daughter & mother/son events, awards and recognition ceremonies, field trips and our grand finale...Senior Graduation on May 28th at 10am. It's going to go fast... so get ready and let's end this school year right! We look forward to seeing everyone return tomorrow. #weareTC
