Trimble County Families,
Although the state and county road departments have done an excellent job, we still have several roads that remain unsafe for bus travel and need additional time to improve. For the safety of our students and staff, Trimble County Schools will operate on NTI for the remainder of the week.
Thank you for your patience and continued support. Please stay safe and warm.

Trimble County Schools will be on an NTI day January 28th due to road conditions! Stay safe everyone!

Due to a continued increase in illness across our district and community, Trimble County Schools will be closed on Thursday, January 15th, and Friday, January 16th. These days will be made up at the end of the school year.
In addition, all Youth League basketball practices and games are canceled through Sunday, January 18th. Youth League activities will resume on Monday, January 19th.
We do not take the decision to cancel school or activities lightly. We understand the inconvenience this causes for families, and we truly hate to have to cancel. However, with the significant increase in illness we are currently seeing, the last thing we want to do is contribute to further spread or put the health of our students, staff, and families at risk.
Thank you for your understanding, patience, and continued support as we work to prioritize the health and safety of our community.

School will be in session tomorrow December 16, 2025 on regular schedule! We are excited to get the students back. We would like to thank you for your support and positivity during this storm. We would also like to give a huge thanks to our county road department and state road department. See everyone tomorrow.

Due to extreme temperatures and secondary road conditions Trimble County School will operate on an NTI day tomorrow. We would also like to thank the state and county road departments as well as our Judge Executive John Ogburn for their hard work on our roads.

Good Morning everyone, today will be an NTI day for Trimble County Schools 12/2/25. This is NTI day 1. We hope you all stay safe and warm.
Please see Facebook or the webpage for an important announcement

Consolidated bus routes.

Hello, this is Trimble County Schools with a transportation update for Thursday, September 25th. We are moving one bus from Milton to Bedford to reduce crowding. For Bedford, the route will start at the back side of Gills Ridge at 6:50 a.m. Pick-up times may shift as we fine-tune the route. For Milton, we will be on Plan B and buses will run 30 minutes earlier than normal. Please allow extra time at stops this week. Our goal is for every student to have a seat for the entire ride. For questions, contact the Transportation Office. We will also post a video on social media and post the routes on our webpage feed. Thank you
Great news everyone the high school plumbing situation has been resolved and we will be back in session as normal on Thursday September 18th. Thank you for your understanding and patience as we repaired this issue at the high school. We are excited to get our kids back in school!

📢 Important Update: SB 181 and Trimble County Schools Communication 📢
As part of our commitment to transparency and compliance with new legislation, we want to inform our families and community about the impact of Senate Bill 181 (SB 181) and what it means for how we communicate with students.
What is SB 181?
SB 181 is a Kentucky law aimed at enhancing transparency and accountability in communication between school personnel and students. It outlines approved digital communication platforms and emphasizes the importance of maintaining professional and documented interactions.
What This Means for Trimble County Schools
We are aligning our communication practices with SB 181 to ensure all interactions are appropriate, secure, and in compliance with the law. Here are the approved channels of communication our staff will use with students and families:
✅ Email – Official school-provided email accounts
✅ Class Dojo – For teachers and academic-related clubs
✅ SportsYou – For athletic programs only
✅ ICe (Infinite Campus Messenger) – For grade-related updates and administrative notices
✅ Google Classroom – For coursework, announcements, and instructional material
💬 Please Note: Communication outside of these approved platforms is discouraged and may not be monitored. We encourage students and parents to engage with us through these official systems to ensure timely and documented communication.
As always, our goal is to keep our students safe, informed, and supported. Thank you for partnering with us in this effort!
