24-25 Kindergarten Registration Information. Bedford Elementary Kindergarten Registration will be April 12, 9:00-2:00 and April 19, 9:00-2:00.
Children who are eligible for kindergarten during the 2024-2025 school year must be five years of age on or before August 1st, 2024.

BES is canceling ESS today, Thursday 1/18/24, due to the threat of inclement weather. Stay safe and warm, BES family.

Please join us on Thursday, December 1st in the BES Cafeteria for Title 1 Family Night. The event will begin at 4:30 and conclude at 6:00. There will be STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) activities throughout the cafeteria for families to experices together. Food will be provided. We hope to see you there.
BES Picture Retake Day is tomorrow, October 20th. If your child was absent or needs a retake, please inform your child's teacher. You may order online using the following code: FM371276. Please call 255-3217 if you have any questions.

Students and parents are welcome to join us any time between 5:00 and 7:00 tonight at Bedford Elementary School. Students may drop off supplies and meet their teachers. We ask that families use the front primary (west side) and intermediate (east side) entrances when visiting classrooms. There will be tables for FRYSC, ACES, Headstart, Transportation, and BES Office Staff outside the front entrance if families have questions or need assistance.
Please join us on Thursday, August 5, from 5:00 to 7:00 for our BES Meet and Greet. This is a good time to meet your teacher and drop off any supplies that you may have already purchased.
Please make sure you have completed online registration for the 2021-2022 school year.

In order to plan for appropriate class sizes and complete class lists it is crucial for all students to be officially enrolled through online registration. When developing the supply lists, teachers tried to create a reasonable list while also meeting classroom needs. We understand that school supply lists may place a financial burden on households and encourage families to utilize the Trimble County Back-To-School-Fair on August 6 at the TC Board of Education.
The Trimble County Family Resource and Youth Service Center (FRYSC) is proactive in meeting student needs in order to help families and students start the year in a positive manner.
