Governor's Scholar Program meeting #2 will be held Friday October 25, at 8:30 am in the TCJR/SR High Library.

Ivy Tech in Madison Indiana, will be hosting a pathway exploration day on October 28th. This will be for current high school students ( freshmen and sophomores) interested in one of the following pathways to tour the Ivy Tech campus. In addition there will be an overview of each pathway that Ivy Tech offers. Permission slips will be sent home and need to be returned to Mr. Craig or Ms. Howerton no later than October 22. Please see the itinerary for specific pathways information.

9:00 to 9:15 a.m. – Students in Lecture Hall for Pathway Program/Ivy Tech Overview
9:15 to 9:45 a.m. – Ivy Tech Tour
9:45 to 10:25 a.m. – Students with Faculty: CNA, Pre-Nursing, Medical Assisting, IT
10:25 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. – Transition Students back to Lecture Hall for Dismissal.

Reminder that Federal Student Financial Aid Night (FAFSA) is tonight at TCJR/SR High School beginning at 6pm. Please have tax information along with student and parents SS#. Ivy Tech representatives will be here to walk us through the process. Students, please bring your chrome books as well.

On Tuesday October 1, The University of Louisville and the United States Air Force will be at Trimble County Jr/Sr High School from 10:30-12:30. Also, reminder that FAFSA night will be Thursday evening @ 6:00 pm. Reminder to bring 2018 tax information, as well as student SS#.

Any Junior interested in the 2020 Governor's Scholar Program will be called to the Library Friday morning to pick up a the student information packet. We will also have an informational session at that time, sharing key dates and answering any questions the students may have.

FREE doughnuts and sports passes to any Sr. that completes a college/career application tomorrow morning. Any student that is uncertain of plans after HS should contact Mr. Craig. There are options out there for every student in this building! See TC email for more details.

All Students please get in the habit of checking your TC email daily. This is especially important for Jrs/Srs as college, career, and scholarship information will be sent via email. We will continue to use many other modes to communicate information as well.

Herff Jones is scheduled to be at the Jr/Sr High on Monday, September 30 for senior graduation ordering, junior class ring ordering, and letter jacket ordering.
They will be here during the lunch periods until 3 PM on Monday.

ESS will be held on Tuesdays & Thursdays, beginning next week, 3:30-4:30. On Tuesdays, there will be help for Math, History and English. On Thursdays, there will be help for English, Math and Science. All students are welcome to stay, but transportation is not available.
