Morning Drop Off for Jr/Sr High Students at MES: Welcome Back Trimble County Jr/Sr High families! Thank you for a smooth start to the first day back in person with all student. We wanted to provide clarification for families who will be dropping off students at MES to catch the bus to the Jr/Sr High. The most important thing to note is that buses will be unloading and loading at 7:45 am this year in order to arrive at the Jr/Sr High for breakfast. If you arrive after buses have departed, you will need to provide transportation for your student that day. Please note that due to contact tracing and social distancing measures, students and families will need to follow these guidelines: ā€¢ MES will have 2 lanes open for morning drop off a the front parking lot. Jr/Sr High families should plan to use the outside lane only (closest to the cars) for dropping off students. You may drop your student off at the circle to wait for loading. ā€¢ Students will board the bus assigned to them for their regular pick up/drop off. If they are unsure, please contact Vanita at the TC board of education. ā€¢ If you have an MES student and a Jr/Sr High student, please follow the step above then proceed to primary door drop off to have your MES studentā€™s temperature scanned before student unloading. ā€¢ All afternoon car riders will be dismissed from the primary entrance this year. If you are picking up your Jr/Sr High student, they may walk to sidewalk by the circle to enter your car. We hope that these guidelines will help with student safety and with the traffic flow in the morning allowing families to get to work on time. Please reach out if you have any questions or there is a specific need for your student. #weareTC

Good Afternoon MES Families, We are excited that school officially starts back on Aug. 26th for ALL students. While we be engaging virtually until October 12th, we are excited to be engaging with students again! I wanted to update you on where we are with Chromebook distribution and orientation. All classroom teachers are working on the development of a schedule for you to come in to register (if you haven't already) pay your fee, and receive instruction on how to access Google Classroom and other supporting technology for your child. This will be scheduled beginning next week. You will receive a call or message in next few days from your child's teacher. Please let us know if you have questions before then. ~the MES Team
