MORNING ARRIVAL: Students that will be transported by car will enter through the car rider lane as in years past. The lane closest to the sidewalk will be for MES students only. The outside lane will be for Jr/Sr High students that are transported by MES buses. Once buses are loaded (approximately at 7:45-7:50 am) both lanes will be open to MES families.
IN ORDER TO MAINTAIN SAFE AND HEALTHY PRACTICES WE REQUEST THAT YOU PLEASE STAY IN YOUR CAR. :-) WE WILL HELP TO UNLOAD YOUR STUDENT.
Primary Students (K-2): Staff will meet families at the primary entrance drop off point next to the second light post. A sign shows you drop off points and times. Students must STAY IN THEIR CAR until after they have had their temperature scanned by a staff member following the Exclusion Criteria Guidelines.
Intermediate Students (3-6): Staff will meet families at the gym entrance drop off point at the rear of the building. A sign shows you drop off points and times. Students must STAY IN THEIR CAR until after they have had their temperature scanned by a staff member following the Exclusion Criteria Guidelines.

Any student arriving AFTER 8:15 am will enter through the main entrance.
AFTERNOON DISMISSAL 3:05 PM: All car riders (K-6) will be dismissed at the PRIMARY ENTRANCE point.
We will be using PickUp Patrol exclusively for dismissal. Parent information was shared through your child's Google Stream this week and will be available on our website. All families should register their child even if they ride the bus daily. In order to receive a welcome email (for new families) simply contract Ms. Jill and provide your email. You may streamline the process by emailing her your request at jill.clifford@trimble.kyschools.us.
Staff members will use a tablet that connects to the classroom and will display on the SMARTBoard when a student should be dismissed. Teachers will check the dismissal button and send the student to the car rider cue in the primary hall where they will wait on the social distancing markers with their siblings. Please plan to use both lanes for pick up in order to keep the line moving in the afternoon.
