We understand that virtual learning can be a challenge and many families are anxious to have their children return to school. Although we are unable to do that fully at this time, we have been given the okay to have small groups of students come into the building for face-to-face instruction with their teachers. Grade levels will rotate on various days as we must keep capacity below 15%. We will be able to begin this on Tuesday, September 8. In order to best utilize this time and reach as many students as possible, we will be scheduling appointments. Each small group time will last 2 hours and transportation will be provided, if needed. Both staff and students will be required to wear appropriate face coverings during this time. If you would like to have your child participate in small group instruction with the teacher, please call the school to set up an appointment. We anticipate that many families will want to take advantage of this opportunity and ask that you be patient as we schedule. If you do not get an answer, please call back as we may be taking other calls. 255-3217

In order to complete class lists we need an accurate count of students that will be attending school in person. This information is also extremely important as we plan the spacial arrangements of classrooms and common spaces. If you have not completed the survey please do so at the following link https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/ZNSS9GM or call the BES Office at 255-3217 to let us know whether your child is attending school in person or virtually. Good afternoon Trimble County families, This is an update pertaining to the event ‘Mother Son Game Night’ that was originally scheduled for tomorrow evening (Friday, March 13, 2020). Due to some parental concerns and requests, we feel that it is in the best interest of our families to reschedule this event as a precautionary measure. There are NO suspected or confirmed cases of the COVID-19 virus in Trimble County at this time; however, we feel that ensuring the safety and protection of our students and their families is the most important concern right now. We fully intend to reschedule this event for a later date and will be sure to share that information as soon as it becomes available. Thank you for your understanding, Trimble County Family Resources and Youth Service Center & Trimble County Community Education
