If you have a child or know of a child that will turn 5 by August 1, 2020 please call the Bedford Elementary School Office and pre-register for Kindergarten. This will help ensure that we have an accurate count for our 2020-2021 Kindercubs. We are excited to add new members to our BES family.

Student belongings may be picked up on Tuesday May 19 for 1st, 4th, and 5th grade students. Kindergarten, 2nd, 3rd, and 6th grade students may pick up belongings on Wednesday, May 20. We will accommodate for siblings. Please utilize the exterior doors closest to the classrooms.

Today is Raider Day 15. It's hard to believe we have been out of school for 3 weeks. You may drop off completed work in the BES foyer and pick up NTI packets today until 3:00. Have a wonderful Spring Break!

This is an update pertaining to the event ‘Mother Son Game Night’ that was originally scheduled for tomorrow evening (Friday, March 13, 2020). Due to some parental concerns and requests, we feel that it is in the best interest of our families to reschedule this event as a precautionary measure. There are NO suspected or confirmed cases of the COVID-19 virus in Trimble County at this time; however, we feel that ensuring the safety and protection of our students and their families is the most important concern right now. We fully intend to reschedule this event for a later date and will be sure to share that information as soon as it becomes available.

Breakfast with Santa is tomorrow, December 7th, from 8:00 AM until noon. There will be a free breakfast, craft, and photo opportunity with Santa. Gift shop for friends and family at our 2nd annual Holiday Bazaar too.
Join us at Bedford Elementary School for the FRYSC Back to School Fair on Friday, August 2nd from 9 to 5. All Trimble County students and families are encouraged to attend and will receive free back to school supplies, shoes, clothing, and hygiene needs. Lunch is provided.
Calling all volunteers! If you have a heart for sharing your time and talents, Bedford Elementary School could use your help. There are numerous choices in which your talents could be put to good use including the following: landscaping, painting, decorating bulletin boards and hallways, organizing books/supplies, and many other tasks. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

A Trimble County Basketball Clinic for boys and girls grades 3-6 will take place on Friday, June 7 from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the BES Gym. The $30 cost includes lunch and a t-shirt. All library books should be returned to the library as soon as possible. Books that have been lost or damaged beyond repair will need to be paid for prior to the last day day of school. CONGRATULATIONS to FIRST GRADE! Those classes have ALL of their books turned in!
We would like to remind you that our Pastries for Parents Breakfast will be this Friday, May 17 from 7:30-8:30. While students eat breakfast for free, the cost for adults is $3.00. Hope to see you there.
ATTENTION RAIDER NATION: RAIDER FOOTBALL IS BACK FOR 2019!!!: MEETING ON THURSDAY MAY 16th FOR PARENTS AND STUDENTS (GRADES 6th THROUGH 11th) INTERESTED IN PLAYING JUNIOR VARSITY OR MIDDLE SCHOOL FOOTBALL High School football returns to Trimble County as TCHS will be fielding a Junior Varsity team for the 2019 season, with plans to return to varsity competition in the near future. Be apart of the next chapter and start the process of creating a new tradition in Trimble County Football by joining us on Thursday May 16th at 7:00 PM in the High School Cafeteria for information session about the upcoming Junior Varsity and Middle School Football season.
