Good Morning MES Families,

As we continue to plan for re-opening schools next month, one of the most important pieces of information we need is whether your child will be attending school in person or if they will choose the online option. We would appreciate your response by tomorrow, Friday, July 31st in order to determine class size and staffing.

Once student participation is determined, we will be able to share who your child's teacher will be in order to determine which school supply list you will need to shop from. I have asked teachers to pair down their lists based on the potential for change in status due to the governor's mandates. If your child is participating in one of the virtual instruction plans, you will not need all of the supplies that an in-person student would. Please stay tuned for more information from your child's teacher. 

The leadership team is continuing to meet weekly to determine how to best support our school community. Please know that we will continue to provide you with the most current information regarding re-opening plans. Please stay tuned next week for for updates regarding:

  • Meet and greet for kindergarten students
  • Meet and greet for students new to MES
  • Device distribution
