Good Sunday Evening Families and Students,
I just wanted to touch base with everyone so we can get aligned for a successful week ahead. So let's recap where we've been and where we're going so everyone is on the same page.
Last week were NTI Days 1-5 (March 16-20). Those packets/lessons were given to students before they were dismissed from school on the 13th and HOPEFULLY, those lessons are complete.
This coming week (March 23-27), are NTI Days 6-10. The packets for this week were also handed out to students before they were dismissed from school on the 13th. Students that are working on-line need to follow the pace in the platform with projects and focus areas.
Next week (March 30-April 3), are NTI Days 11-15. Those packets for students are ready and if you did not pick them up last week, you can pick them up at your child's school tomorrow from 9am to 3pm.
Parents.... please talk to your kids and help ensure that they have finished Days 1-5 and are ready to begin on Day 6. We don't want students getting behind because it could be extremely difficult to attempt to "catch up" 3 or 4 weeks in. If they don't understand something...CALL THE SCHOOL and ask for help, or email the teacher if you have the technology available. Our teachers are there to help and they are getting contacted daily from students that need assistance. I can assure you that you won't be the only one!
Meals will continue to be provided this week as they were last week.
Please do your best to follow all of the guidelines recommended by the Governor and the CDC to ensure that we are all staying healthy!!! We miss our students terribly and will be so thankful when we can resume some normalcy. Until then, just know that we will get through this by supporting each other and our community. Let us know if you need anything! #wearetc
