As the week comes to a close, I wanted to reach out and give families a pat on the back. Providing educational experiences for children in a normal world is hard work for a trained educator and very stressful for a family member who has not been trained as a teacher. You have been given the task of stepping to the role of your child's teacher and I see many of you embracing it and looking at the positive in that you get to spend more quality time with your children. I also know that in reality that this is also creating a hardship for many families. The staff of MES are reaching out to be your support, the cushion when you fall, and the reality is you will. Don't give up! We will never give up on your children and are here when you need us. Find some thing positive in each day and share that with your children. Help them to find the positive too. Hang in there! You've got this :-) Here's some inspiration from my favorite Kid President Pep Talk. It will make you smile, promise!
