Dear TC Parents and Guardians,
I wanted to give you a brief update as we continue to receive information from state and local officials in regards to the Corona Virus Pandemic. We continue to monitor and plan for the potential impact that this could have on our schools in the coming weeks. Our goal is to avoid canceling school if possible. We have been diligent in providing more attention to hygiene and building cleanliness. However, we do want to make sure that we are prepared in the event that it will be necessary to close.
In the upcoming days ahead, our teachers and administrators will be preparing Raider Day Lesson Plans which, if used, will allow us to avoid making up missed days at the end of the school year. Principals will be assisting teachers to plan for up to ten days of instruction to be accessed by students at home, should it become necessary to do so . Teachers and administrators will communicate "Raider Day" plans to students and parents as soon as the district becomes aware of a potential closure.
I sincerely hope that we will not have to close school and that we won't need to utilize Raider Days, but the health and well-being of our students and staff remains at the forefront of our decision-making.
