Deeper Learning 2019: The Time Has Come Thanks to all who submitted photos and helped make this video a huge success at Deeper Learning 2019! The Time Has Come Preformed by Darryl Adams | Revised Lyrics…

The above link is to a video clip that shares some insight into the work we have been doing in Trimble County.  Justin Bathon and the team from Steam Academy at UK and Next Generation Learning have been working in partnership with the leaders of Deeper Learning from across the US.  Ted Dintersmith created the video for the Deeper Learning conference held at High Tech High (creator of "Most Likely to Succeed").  The video shows how the nature of the work has changed and that this is no longer a niche, but an increasingly widely accepted view of the future of public schooling.  Our kids deserve the best!

New Standards Update:

As indicated on my 3/28/19 instructional update, we have new standards coming out.  I have also posted information on the news section of our website along with the critical fact sheet.  I am currently looking for teacher leaders to attend a training this summer and participate in the planning of the district roll out on work days before next school year starts and follow up on embedded PD days throughout the school year.  Please let your principal know if you are interested and would like more information.

Certified Evaluation Plan:

It is that time of year again when we need to convene a 50/50 committee to review our CEP.  I have attached our CEP for the current school year and I am looking for certified volunteers to participate in a virtual review of the document to determine whether or not we will make any changes to the plan.  The reason it is called a 50/50 committee is because it must be comprised of 50% teachers and 50% administrators.  Please let me know if you are willing to participate.  Below is a link to our current CEP.

New teacher cohort:

Our last meeting will be on Monday 4/29 in the board room at central office.

Thank you for all you do for the students of Trimble County!
