Trimble County Schools have been approved to offer “Non-Traditional Instructional” (NTI) days for the 2016-2017 school year. This means that Trimble County Schools will be allowed to deliver content to students so that they can learn at home on bad weather or emergency days when conditions prevent schools from being in session. The NTI days will limit the interruption of learning that occurs due to school closings, because students will have assignments (either online or paper packet) that provide review opportunities and application of prior learning. Additionally, NTI days do not have to be made up at the end of the school year, provided that the students do their assigned work on NTI days. Read more HERE!
