UPCOMING COMMUNITY EDUCATION EVENTS

*Get your WALK on! The gymnasium located at the Board of Education (previously known as TCMS), is NOW OPEN for indoor walking! Hours are 9am-11am ONLY when school is in session! Please be sure you sign-in on the pink sheet located on the table beside the gym.

*Watch DOGS! Plans are currently in the works for a Watch DOGS night at BES and MES! Once things are organized and planned, flyers will be coming home with students as well as some social media posts and possibly newspaper articles will be printed, so be on the look out!

*Clifford the Big Red Dog Comes to Trimble County! That's right, that big, red, furry and loveable dog we all know will be making special visits to be apart of 'Clifford Day' at the Headstart, Preschool, BES & MES Kingergarten classes, as well as the Trimble County Public Library! Trimble County's 'Clifford Week' will be September 10th-14th. (Side note: currently seeking some volunteers to wear the Clifford costume! We need Clifford to be on-site at the Headstart, Preschool, BES Kindergarten Classes, and MES Kindergarten Classes. We plan to organize one day of the week for each location, lasting 1-2 hours at each location.)

BACK TO SCHOOL FAIR UPDATE!

2018 BTSF

This year's Back To School Fair was a HUGE success! We had numerous households, churches, local agencies and organizations deliver various donations that consisted of clothing, undergarments, shoes and school supplies. So an enormous THANK YOU to those that sent out your donations!! We had 126 families walk through our doors, which means 345 children/students were helped with starting the new school year off on a fantastic note! This event would not have been possible without the 30+ volunteers that helped go through clothing, setup stations and organize items, so another THANK YOU goes out to those who gave their time and effort! Not to leave anyone out, we also had 16 vendors attend and set-up in the gym. There, these vendors were able to connect with people face to face to give them valuable resources to help them live their day to day lives a little easier! There's nothing quite like a small town community coming together to help make sure that those that need help, get it!
